Spread across three days, replete with eight knowledge sessions, celebrating 25 award categories, and harbouring 350+ delegates, EMF ACE 2019 set a stupendous benchmark for the industry to get inspired by. In a quest to achieve glories and move a step beyond, EMF ACE 2019 was held from 11-13 July, 2019, to stride the way into the future of infinite possibilities of the events industry and enable enriched knowledge sharing by bringing together the whole ecosystem of industry experts. The event flourished under the leadership of EMF’s Founder President, Dr Jaydeep Mehta who also proudly announced Vision 2024 of EMF to collaborate and make strategic business alliances with 10 countries in the next five years for inbound and outbound Weddings and MICE events. He also emphasised on the health & safety of fraternity members and encouraged them to ‘insure’ their employees against safety risks that they’re subjected to at work.
The convention commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp ceremony in the august presence of Guinness Book Record Holder, Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Prince of Udaipur; Grammy and Academy Award Winner, Sukhwinder Singh; Nitin Patel and Dr Jaydeep Mehta.
Rajiv Kapoor, GM Fairmont Jaipur delivered the welcome address in his own unique style. Johnny Roxburgh, a ‘Party Architect’ of international repute enlightened the guests on ‘How to Attract and Retain Better Clients’. Notable speakers Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar; Vishal Kapoor, CEO & GM, Radisson Udaipur; Rajnish Rathi, Chief Editor, Wedding Affair Magazine; Varun Nigam, GM, Jaimahal Palace; Varun Mehrotra, Director Sales & Marketing, Fairmont Jaipur and Adiraj Singh Shahpura from Shahpura Hotels delivered a power-packed panel discussion on ‘Curating Memorable Weddings’.
Other speakers on Day 1 of EMF ACE included Sanjay Vazirani from FoodLink, and also Zaid Abbara and Alain Hamdouni from the renowned Ladurée Paris. The guests were left in complete awe with the delectable desserts the Chefs whipped up to sample. The evening saw a breathtaking performance by the high-octane entertainer and singer, Sukhwinder Singh. The energy was infectious!
Day two commenced with wedding planner Jean Charles Vaneck from Sumptuous Events guiding the guests on how to ‘Price Yourself for the Perfect Event’. Delegates were all ears as Sarosh Patel, Director, Effects Tech; Rituraj Khanna from Q Events; Siddharth Chauhan from Mega Sound and Dr Jaydeep Mehta, President – EMF discussed ‘Creating Dream Wedding Set-Ups.’ Rupesh Tatia from TGS Catering, Inder Balani from FoodLink, Gaurav Chauhan from Le Chaat & Anjali Changlani from German Catering spoke about Catering Trends for Gen-Z Weddings.
This was followed by the much-awaited session with legendary actor Govinda, a born entertainer who had the crowd glued to their seats throughout. He amused the delegates with his dance moves and signature dialogues. He also shared his inspirational journey to success and stardom with them. Moreover, he mesmerized the audiences with his soulful singing of a beautiful composition conceived by his respected mother, Nirmala Devi.
The three-day convention also saw some great performances by the likes of Mohammed Irfan, Shefali Alvares, Assees Kaur, Rajiv Thakur, Siddharth Sagar and Luke Kenny. This had set the pulse for a grand award ceremony to recognise & honour the excellence of EMF members and complementing industry. Awards across various categories were presented to deserving candidates by notable personalities. ACE 2019 saw the launch of EMF IMPACT, a magazine that showcases how ACE has become a glaring example of success and harmony among contemporaries throughout the years and a great platform to learn and discuss industry innovations.
